About Us

At Ashwood Border Collies - Temperament is the main priority, as is the health of the animal for its entire life. We strive to raise confident, well-adjusted puppies that occasionally will be available to selective homes. Due to the Border Collie's high energy level, the breed may not be suited for everyone. When choosing a breed make sure the proper research is done to ensure the right fit for your lifestyle. We strive to produce pups with excellent Temperaments, Health, Structure and Soundness, while maintaining the natural herding ability the Border Collie is known for.  Though our puppies excel in Agility, herding, Frisbee, dock diving, Fly-ball, and most importantly as loving lifelong companions. 

We are a small breeder, breeding quality, not quantity. Our goal in every litter is to improve the breed through selective breeding.  All our dogs are carefully screened with health and genetic clearances. They also must be sound (both mind and body).  We breed our pups to have drive, yet still have an off switch.
